In accordance with the code of conduct of the Danish Bar and Law Society, TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab always checks before a new assignment whether a conflict of interest exists. Should we find it necessary to renounce the case for such reason, we will let the client know as soon possible and help find another attorney.
TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab is obligated to treat any information received from or about the client confidentially. All attorneys and other employees at TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab are subject to professional secrecy.
TGB Law Advokatanpartselskab is liable for the advice provided in accordance with the general rules of Danish law.
TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab is not liable for indirect losses or consequential damage, including operating loss, loss of data, loss of profit, goodwill, image, etc.
TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab is not liable for any mistakes made by sub-contractors to which TGB Law Firm has entrusted part of the assignment according to an agreement with the client.
TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab has taken out liability insurance with the insurance company CNA Insurance (Denmark), filial af CNA Insurance Company (Europe) S.A. Luxembourg in accordance with the rules of the Danish Bar and Law Society. The liability insurance covers performance of any type of legal practice, irrespective of where it is performed.
TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab, Attorney Thomas Grue Baruch and Attorney David Frølich's liability for advisory services is limited to DKK 2.5 million each per assignment.
The advisory services provided by TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab are subject to Danish law, and any matter related to the services shall be under the jurisdiction of the Danish Courts.
TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab is subject to the Danish Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and must therefore, among other conditions, obtain and file know your customer information. TGB Law Advokatanpartsselskab is obligated to file such KYC information for at least 5 years after the expiry of the client relationship.
At TGB Law we place great emphasis on performing our services in accordance with the rules on professional conduct and the Danish Bar and Law Society’s Code of Conduct. It is, therefore, important for us to have an open dialogue and good communication with the client during the entire assignment in order to avoid misunderstandings.
In the event of disagreement with the advice given or the general handling of the case, the client may at any time contact the partner in charge to discuss the matter and to seek a solution to the disagreement through dialogue.
